The Centre for Cancer Research and Cell Biology, BRCALinkNI and Action Cancer are organising the 7th annual patient information day for women at high risk of breast and ovarian cancer and their families. This can be due to mutations in BRCA1 or BRCA2 or for as yet undefined genetic reasons.
The event will be held on Friday 28th April in the Balmoral Hotel, Belfast. Arrival from 9.30 for a 10.00 start, finishing about 15.30.
This year our main themes are:
- “Support for U30s”,
- “Fertility including PGD”,
- “Peer Support” and
- “Breast Reconstruction Options”
We will also have an "Ask the Experts" session with a panel from specialties including surgery, plastic surgery, oncology, gynaecology, genetics and fertility. This provides a unique opportunity to ask questions on the day or pre-submitted if you wish to remain anonymous. Please submit any questions to firstname.lastname@example.org
