SACT- Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy

SACT Clinical Reference Group Chair

Dr Paula Scullin, Consultant Medical Oncologist and Chair of Division Cancer and Specialist Medicine at BHSCT is the Chair of the NICaN SACT CRG.

The NICaN SACT Clinical Reference Group is the authoritative source of expertise and guidance on systemic anti-cancer therapy for Northern Ireland.  The CRG sets the standards in relation to SACT prescription, preparation and safe administration, agreeing a set of site specific SACT treatment guidelines and protocols for the Network supporting the development of regimens for the Regional Information System for Oncology and Haematology (RISOH).

The NICaN SACT CRG works directly with other relevant groups to ensure clinical engagement across all work streams relevant to the delivery of Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy. There are currently several subgroups which sit under the structure of the SACT CRG including:
