NICaN are delighted to acknowledge the development and launch of the Northern Ireland Cancer Nursing Clinical Career Pathway on World Cancer Day.
The work has been shaped through collaboration with nursing leaders, educators, clinical teams and importantly, the voices of those living with and beyond cancer. It is relevant for nurses working with children, adolescents and adults who have a cancer diagnosis.
This pathway offers a clear and structured route for nurses to continually develop specialist and advanced knowledge and skills, progress confidently through their careers, and contribute to the highest levels of practice and standards of cancer care
