The Northern Ireland Cancer Network (NICaN) and regional HSC Cancer services colleagues are holding an event on the 31st March to explore the way forward to support and develop the role of our Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialists.
Recognising how the increasing cancer incidence and prevalence impacts on this limited resource of nursing expertise, approximately 40 regional HSC Nurse Leaders and senior managers are attending the in person event which aims to understand the challenges and how to navigate and protect the role of the CNS within the current service pressures.
