Palliative Care

Meet the Palliative Care experts

Compassionate Communities

Compassionate Communities NI is an organisation providing education, support and resources to help us all live well until the end of life. Their programmes encourage conversation, facilitate compassionate support and promote practical planning. For more information visit Compassionate Communities Northern Ireland | Helping Us All To Live Well Until The Very End Of Life.

These videos give a quick overview about the different palliative care professionals in your local area and ways in which they can help.  To watch the videos visit Resources (List) | Compassionate Communities Northern Ireland.

The Rainbow Project

The Rainbow Project’s Cancer Champions service provides LGBTQIA+ inclusive cancer support across Northern Ireland, offering one-to-one and peer support groups, and end of life workshops for those affected by cancer, including those in palliative care.

Their team supports LGBTQIA+ people living with cancer, carers, and anyone who needs guidance with screening or navigating services. For more information visit Cancer Champions – The Rainbow Project.
