People recently diagnosed with cancer are invited to take part in the GIFT Cohort Study, a UK-wide research study exploring the financial impact of cancer and how it affects wellbeing, quality of life and everyday living.
Participants must be:
- aged 18 or over,
- living in the UK,
- and diagnosed with cancer within the past six months.
You do not need to be experiencing financial difficulties to take part.
The study involves four online questionnaires over 12 months, each taking approximately 15 to 20 minutes to complete. Eligible participants will receive a gift voucher after each questionnaire.
The five-year project is funded by the Wellcome Trust and led by researchers at Queen’s University Belfast, with full ethical approval.
